About Lueur

What is Lueur?
Lueur is a telehealth service that connects women experiencing perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms with board-certified physicians who specialize in hormone health. Personalized bioidentical hormone therapy is prescribed when appropriate and delivered to your door each month.
Are these real doctors?
Yes. Every prescription is written by a licensed, board-certified physician practicing in your state. Our physicians specialize in menopause and hormone health — it's their full-time focus, not a side specialty.
How is this different from seeing my regular doctor?
Most primary care physicians received limited menopause training during residency. Our physicians specialize in menopause care full-time. Your case is evaluated by someone whose entire practice is hormone health — not someone trying to squeeze it into a 10-minute annual physical.
How is Lueur different from Winona or Alloy?
All three offer prescription HRT via telehealth. Lueur's focus is on access: specialist-reviewed cases within 24 hours (not weeks), fully personalized bioidentical formulations, and transparent all-inclusive pricing. If you've used another service and weren't satisfied, we'd love to know why.
What states is Lueur available in?
Lueur is available in most U.S. states. Telehealth regulations vary by state — we'll confirm your eligibility during the intake process. Join the early access list and we'll reach out with specifics when we launch.

Treatment

What medications do you prescribe?
Bioidentical estradiol, progesterone, or combination formulations, tailored to your symptom profile. Your physician determines the specific formulation and delivery method (oral, transdermal, topical) that fits your needs.
How long before I see results?
Most women notice improvement in sleep, mood, and hot flashes within 2–4 weeks. Full effects on energy, cognition, and overall well-being typically appear over 2–3 months. Your physician adjusts your dose as needed.
What are the side effects?
Common short-term effects can include breast tenderness, bloating, or spotting as your body adjusts — usually resolving within a few weeks. Your physician monitors and adjusts your dose to minimize these. Serious side effects are rare but possible; your physician discusses your individual risk profile before prescribing.
What if the doctor says treatment isn't right for me?
You receive a full refund — no questions asked. If our physicians determine treatment isn't appropriate based on your health history, you won't be charged.
Can I use my existing labs?
Yes — if you have recent hormone labs (typically within the last 12 months), you can upload them during intake. For HRT specifically, symptoms often matter more than a single lab value, so labs aren't always required.
Do I need to stop my antidepressant?
Not necessarily, and not without physician guidance. Many women find their mood and anxiety symptoms improve significantly on HRT, and may be able to reduce or discontinue antidepressants with their prescribing doctor's supervision. Never stop an antidepressant cold turkey.

Cost & Insurance

How much does it cost?
Plans start at $99/month — physician consultation, personalized prescription, and monthly delivery all included. Quarterly plans available at $85/month (billed $255 every 3 months).
Can I use insurance?
We don't bill insurance directly. Our pricing is often less than specialist co-pays and removes the administrative friction. You can submit receipts to your HSA/FSA for potential reimbursement.
Can I use HSA/FSA?
Yes. Lueur is HSA/FSA eligible. We provide the documentation you need for reimbursement.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel anytime from your account dashboard. No cancellation fees, no phone call required, no guilt-trip prompts.

Privacy & Safety

Is my information private?
Completely. All health data is encrypted and stored in HIPAA-compliant systems. We never sell or share your information with third parties.
Is it safe to get a prescription online?
Yes. Telehealth is regulated by state medical boards. Our physicians follow the same prescribing standards as any in-person doctor — the difference is access, not quality of care.
How is my medication packaged?
Your package arrives in plain, unmarked packaging with no logos, no product descriptions, and no indication of contents on the outside. Nobody will know what's inside.
